tekom 2008 – Great interest in itl solutions and services

itl presented new interesting topics about technical documentation and translation at its booth and with lectures at the tekom trade show this year again. The many itl booth visitors welcomed the innovative solutions that were introduced for automation and author support. Concrete closings were reported. “We were happy to find out that our products have hit the nerve center of this industry. We were able to convince prospective customers with our [i]-match and [i]-flow solutions as well as the partner products docuglobe and Across”, reported Ulrich Schmidt, Manager of Product & Process Solutions, after three days at the trade show.

There were numerous customers who were especially interested in the process optimization in the area of documentation, which was presented by Dräger Medical Care in the partner presentation. 

Ms. Ulrike Gerder-Kallisch and Dieter Gust presented innovative solutions for FrameMaker resulting in subsequent inquiries from many customers.

The visitors at the booth found competent partners for conversation in the itl experts at the often overcrowded itl Espresso Bar for discussions about concrete problems that exist at their companies. Initial solutions for translation and terminology processes and complex technical issues were already outlined during the trade show. Of course, there was plenty of stimulating conversation and relaxation.
