There are still spots available for the dates in Munich (May 7), Stuttgart (May 11) and Dortmund (May 13).

The following lecturers and topics await you:

Keynote from Dr. Ulrich Thiele

Dr. Ulrich Thiele educates technical editors at his teaching assignments in Gießen, Aalen and Furtwangen and regularly conducts seminars for the VDI knowledge forum.

In his keynote, he shows that introducing systems without careful analysis of the initial situation does not solve any problems; it only creates new ones.

From professional experience: Dieter Flach, ABB Automation Products GmbH

Dieter Flach manages and coordinates the technical documentation in the process instrumentation business unit of ABB.

Using examples from his own department, he shows why outsourcing the creation, maintenance and localization of technical documentation secures long-term flexibility for companies and can lower costs.

Ulrich Schmidt: Controlled language as a means to reducing costs

Ulrich Schmidt manages the Product & Process Solutions department at itl.

In his roadshow lecture, he introduces terminology solution approaches that make the editing process more efficient and the translation process more cost-effective.

Ulrich Pelster: Fewer sources, fewer sources of error

Ulrich Pelster manages the global document solutions business unit at technotrans AG.

In his lecture, he shows how a well thought-out modularization concept, implemented into a content management system can simplify and slim down the documentation process.
