av-termine.htmlOn September 30, 2009, with the topic "Graphics, colors and PDF – about the unseen stumbling blocks and optimal workflows", the first evening event will take place in Graz with publishing as the program's central theme.
Using three concrete application examples, Ute Mitschke will point out possible obstacles when creating PDFs and how you can avoid or prevent them. Ute Mitschke demonstrates which functions are available with Adobe Acrobat in order to check the quality of the arising PDF file and subsequently optimize it. Color, color models, graphics compression and compression methods are only several of the keywords that will be addressed and classified.
"InDesign, FrameMaker, Word – where does the future for technical documentation now lie?" is the program for the second itl evening in Graz on November 17, 2009.
Dieter Gust, head of Research & Development at itl poses the question "Which system is the best for technical documentation: FrameMaker, InDesign or Word?"
You can look forward to interesting, practical lectures and take advantage of the opportunity to exchange information with each other and the itl experts.
