Identifying reserves
As an entity, itl, with headquarters in Munich, and gds from Sassenberg, would be number 1 in providing software solutions and services for technical documentation in German-speaking countries. Both companies have now decided to put on a joint roadshow whose scope will demonstrate to decision-makers and users from this particular field what potential there is but still goes unused in many companies. "Reserves – recognizing and utilizing them" is the topic under which experts present theory as well as practical examples and know-how from their daily work.
"The message that there is not an all-encompassing solution out there is important to us.", explains Ulrich Pelster, business unit manager from gds, "The respective job specifications differ in various aspects so that, initially, the complete bandwidth of possibilities should be presented, and examples of combinations that will have a positive result should then be shown." "Today, demonstrating savings potential that can be utilized and is already available in companies without large new investments is of great importance", adds Christine Wallin-Felkner, CEO of itl AG. Not only employees of the companies hosting appear as lecturers. Thus, Dr. Ulrich Thiele, who among other things is a university lecturer for technical visualization, content management systems and DTP in the still young "technical editor" area of study, was convinced to participate. As someone with experience in the field, Dieter Flach will be giving a lecture.
